What will you do?

  • Conduct penetration and vulnerability testing, along with managing client networks, applications, and systems to proactively identify and address security weaknesses.
  • Contribute to IT Discovery and Risk Assessments by offering expert security insights and tailored recommendations
  • Regularly review and update security policies to ensure they reflect the latest best practices and compliance requirements.
  • Conduct periodic reviews of risk matrices to assess potential threats and vulnerabilities. You will update these matrices based on the latest threat intelligence, ensuring that risk management strategies are aligned with current risks.
  • Lead the resolution of recurring systemic issues by conducting thorough root cause analysis.
  • Take charge of managing active security incidents, coordinating response efforts, and mitigating ongoing threats.
  • Lead disaster recovery efforts during incidents, ensuring that critical systems and data are restored quickly and effectively.
  • Collaborate with PSE Engineers to design and optimize backup strategies that ensure data integrity and availability.
  • Provide expert-level support to SOC Analysts and Technicians by resolving escalated server and network performance issues.
  • Provide expert-level support for cloud infrastructure monitoring and performance challenges.
  • Perform on-call duties per Snap Tech after-hours on a rotating schedule.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 4+ years of experience in network operations, cybersecurity, or a related field.
  • Proven expertise in conducting penetration testing, performing security assessments, or managing risk.
  • Strong knowledge cloud infrastructures and cloud security.
  • Advanced proficiency in network monitoring tools and systems management platforms.
  • Proven experience in designing comprehensive backup solutions and implementing Business Continuity (BCP) and Disaster Recovery (DR) plans.
  • Extensive experience in implementing advanced EDR, SIEM, vulnerability management, and application control solutions.
  • Comprehensive understanding of NIST, CMMC, GDPR, PCI, and other relevant regulatory frameworks and industry standards.
  • Demonstrated expertise in leading, participating, or coordinating security incident response efforts.
  • Ability to lead complex technical projects and provide mentorship to junior team members.
  • CompTIA Cybersecurity Analyst (CySA+) or GIAC Security Essentials (GSEC) or equivalent, well-established security certifications are highly desirable.
  • Certifications specific to security vendors, network certifications like CCNA, and cloud infrastructure certifications such as Azure or AWS are highly desirable.

What will you do?

  • Be a subject matter expert providing mentorship for level 1 staff.
  • Learn a variety of management systems and suggest improvements to processes.

  • Resolve Firewall/Switch/Wireless Issues.
  • Resolve Windows Server and Office 365 related issues.

  • Maintain an accurate account of time spent on client tickets through detailed ticket notes using our ConnectWise Manage ticketing system.
  • Create Standard Operating Procedures, network drawings, and maintain current client documentation within our documentation system IT Glue.
  • Primarily work from the office while traveling onsite within Atlanta metro area as required. Any travel outside of the Atlanta metro area will be pre–planned and scheduled accordingly.
  • Work with the goal of ensuring smooth operation of the network infrastructure to provide maximum performance and availability for our clients’ users.
  • Perform on-call duties per Snap Tech after-hours policy.

 

Qualifications and Skill Requirements:

  • College diploma or university degree in the field of computer science, information sciences, or related field and/or 5 years equivalent work experience.
  • Microsoft MCSA, MCSE, or MCITP certifications desired.
  • CCNA certification desired.
  • Annual renewal/updating of technical certifications where updates are available.
  • Exceptional knowledge of computer hardware, including Lenovo and HP.
  • Experience with desktop and server operating systems, including all Microsoft solutions.
  • Extensive application support experience with ConnectWise and/or Automate a plus (or similar PSA and RMM tools).
  • Proven track record of developing and providing Service Level Agreements and service department deliverables.
  • Strong understanding of the organization’s goals and objectives.
  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, with a focus on listening and questioning with purpose.
  • Strong documentation skills.
  • Ability to absorb and retain information quickly.

What will you do?

  • Work as an integral part of our IT support staff, handling new tickets and supporting clients with IT issues or requests, primarily from the office using our RMM tool, ConnectWise Automate, but occasionally traveling onsite as needed – must have valid driver’s license and reliable method of transportation.
  • Provide technical triage through client engagement.
  • Help define the impact and severity of the issue and determine the best course of action.
  • Stage and image new equipment for deployment.
  • Engage in ongoing training to improve your skillset.
  • Work on the latest in security solutions for antivirus, email filtering, web content filtering, encryption, and mobile device management.
  • Help our team identify recurring issues and how to solve them forever.
  • Provide technical peer consulting to our team members and work with other departments to ensure customer success.
  • Obsess about documenting your work and writing scripts & processes so a problem doesn’t need to be solved repeatedly.
  • Create Standard Operating Procedures and maintain current client network documentation within our documentation system, IT Glue.
  • Keep busy. Lighter-workload days will be offset by training and proactive tasks to help improve company processes and documentation.
